Church Use of Carolyn’s Videos and Music
Our permissions policy is very simple - you are completely welcome to use any of my music or videos in your worship services and live streams.
To elaborate:
Some of my songs can be found in the CCLI catalogue, and in those instances your use of the CCLI licensing system is appreciated.
In the case of songs not in the CCLI catalogue (or if you church does not use CCLI), you still have my blessing.
Please include copyright and author info in any written use of my songs, as appropriate.
When possible, directing folks to carolynarends.com is appreciated.
Most churches use links from my YouTube channel to share my videos, but if you need your own digital copy of a video, send us an email at info@carolynarends.com.
You can find the charts and sheet music I have available in my shop. (If there’s a song you really need a chart for and it’s not in the shop, shoot us an email and we’ll see what we can track down.)
We do have a tip jar/donate page and if your budget allows you to support my work financially, that’s awesome. But it is absolutely not required. My prayer is always that this music will bless others, and if you choose to include it in your own worship contexts, that’s an honour and a blessing!
The only exception to this completely-open-door policy is if you are planning to record your own version of one of my songs for release. In that case, you’ll need to follow up with the publisher of the song or use a service like Easy Song Licensing.
