Prayer Request
Sorry for the lack of updates here over the past month. Although it has been a busy and productive time, my mom was recently diagnosed with colon cancer, and that has dominated my mental landscape. I have debated whether to mention this concern here, and have finally decided that the upside of your potential prayer support outweighs the downside of discussing something so personal in a newsblog.
Any of you who are familiar with my work know that Mark and I and our kids are extremely close to my folks. We think they are rather extraordinary people. My mom’s prognosis sounds reasonably good, but she is facing a long course of aggressive treatment (chemo, radiation, surgery, repeat) and it’s going to be a very challenging time. Prayer for healing and strength would be most appreciated.
Thanks. I’ll update this blog with newsier items soon. We start mix on the Clumsy Lovers project today (finally!) so I’ll post more about that in the near future.
